2025 – 2026
Goal: 73,000 members
Theme: Step Up For Children First
- Membership remittances must be received physically through channels to FDPTA or electronically through TOTEM by the due date listed in RED. All due dates are on a Wednesday.
- For all awards, units and councils will receive certificates at the First District PTA Award meeting on April 27, 2026.
- Units: please ask your council for specific unit remittance deadlines. Councils must remit your unit dues payments to FDPTA by each deadline to qualify.
UNIT CHALLENGES

1. First Step Award o Submit a selfie or pic depicting your membership theme and/or goal. o It can be as simple as writing it on a piece of paper and putting your smiling faces behind it! We’ll give your unit a shout out by posting your selfie/pic on First District PTA social media. o Link to Google Form to submit: https://forms.gle/baJc2gRumFqcC4W2A o Due to FDPTA by October 1, 2025. |

2. Trailblazer Award o Remit 30 memberships. o Due to FDPTA by October 1, 2025. |

3. Take Another Step Award o Remit at least 15 new memberships between January 1, 2026 and March 4, 2026. o Due to FDPTA by March 4, 2026. |

4. Footprints of Impact Award o Achieve 2025-2026 membership that is 110% of 2024-2025 membership. o Due to FDPTA by April 1, 2026. |

5. Golden Footprint Award o Achieve 2025-2026 membership that is 100% of school’s 2024-2025 enrollment. o Enrollment data per Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE). o Due to FDPTA by April 1, 2026. |

6. Laces of Leadership Award o Achieve 100% full-time staff membership at your unit’s school site. o Link to Google Form to submit: https://forms.gle/HzPkZ6TGK8u8QkG9A o We will rely on the honor system for verification. o Due to FDPTA by April 1, 2026. |

California State PTA Membership Challenges 2025-2026

Together We Grow Fast Units that forward at least 100 members by the 100th day of the 2025-2026 PTA term will earn a digital badge and be recognized on California State PTA’s social media. 10/8/2025 09/28/2025 3. Together We Launch Forward at least 30 members by the Ready, Set, Remit deadline, and your unit will earn a digital badge and be celebrated on California State PTA’s social media. 10/30/2025 10/28/2025 4. Together We Support Our Schools Units that achieve 100% teacher membership and forward their dues by the deadline will earn a digital badge and be recognized on California State PTA’s social media. 11/30/2025 11/23/2025 5. Together We Rise Every unit that meets or exceeds its total membership from 2024-2025 will earn a digital badge and be celebrated on California State PTA’s social media, and will also receive a ribbon at the annual Convention. 12/31/2015 12/17/2025 6. Together We Celebrate Every unit that adds 17 members during the month of February will earn a digital badge and be recognized on California State PTA’s social media. 2/28/2026 02/25/2026 7. Together We Build PTA units that increase membership by 2% or more over their 2024–2025 total will earn a digital badge and be celebrated on California State PTA’s social media. 3/31/2026 03/25/2026 *First District PTA must receive remitted membership funds by the dates listed in RED in order to be able to get them to California State PTA in time to meet the challenge
